Presentation on Self-Assessment-Tests and preparative courses for the "Applied Computer Science" master programme

On October 28th, 2014, Michael Göttsche will give a presentation on Self-Assessment-Tests and preparative courses for the "Applied Computer Science" master programme. The goal is to present is work on this topics including what these tests and courses may look like. He will also give a short demonstration.

Data Science and Big Data Analytics to start on October 28th

The course "Data Science and Big Data Analytics" will start in the second week of the term on October 28th, 2015. The course is quite crowded. Registration is required in the first lecture. More information can be found under /lectures/data-science-and-big-data-analytics-ws2014.

Paper accepted at SoftwareMining-2014

The paper "Software Process Simulation based on Mining Software Repositories" by Verena Honsel, Daniel Honsel, and Jens Grabowski has been accepted at SoftwareMining-2014 located at the ICDM2014 (International Conference on Data Mining) in Shenzhen. Presentations of indian guest researchers

On Friday, October 24th, 2014 at 15:00 o'clock, our two indian guest researchers, Vikas Panthi and Subhrakanta Panda, will present the current state of their research. Vikas Panthi will talk about his work on model-based testing, Subhrakanta Panda will introduce his work on test case optimization and prioritization. The goal is to have an exchange with other PhD candiates of our group as well as other researchers and to get feedback about the work done. Furthermore, the focus of the work they will do during their stay will be clarified.

Visit of two guest researchers from NIT Rourkela, India

In the period of mid of October to December, we have two guest researchers joining our group. Both come from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Rourkela, India. During their stay, they want to advance their research in the context of their PhD studies. The idea for this visit came up during a research stay of Prof. Dr. Jens Grabowski in Rourkela in May this year.

Bringing TDL to Users: A Hands-on Tutorial at UCAAT 2014

On Tuesday, September 16 2014, 3:20pm, Philip Makedonski will give a tutorial on bringing the Test Description Language (TDL) to users at the ETSI User Conference on Advanced Automated Testing (UCAAT 2014) held at the Siemens Conference Center in Munich.
