Journal First Presentation at ICST 2025

We are happy to announce that we will present the findings of our journal article A new perspective on the competent programmer hypothesis through the reproduction of real faults with repeated mutations at the 18th IEEE International Conference on Software Testing, Verification and Validation (ICST) 2025. Within the article, we explore the competent programmer hypothesis by examining the connection between mutation testing and real-world faults. Through mutation chains, we assess the directness of this connection by recreating faults. The presentation will be part of the Journal-First Papers track of the conference.
